These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Multiplay website, mobile application, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). By using Multiplay, you agree to these Terms.
1. Using Multiplay
You agree to use Multiplay lawfully, respectfully, and in a way that does not interfere with other users or the operation of the Services.
You must provide accurate information when creating your account and keep your account details secure.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
2. Activities and Bookings
Multiplay provides a platform that allows users to discover, join, and host activities.
Activity details, availability, pricing, and cancellation policies are determined by the activity host unless otherwise stated.
By joining an activity, you agree to follow any reasonable instructions provided by the host.
3. Payments
Some activities require payment or the use of in-app credits.
All prices are displayed before you confirm your booking.
Unless required by law or stated in an activity’s cancellation policy, payments and credits are generally non-refundable.
4. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Provide false or misleading information.
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other users.
- Upload unlawful, offensive, or inappropriate content.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Services.
- Use Multiplay for fraudulent or illegal purposes.
We reserve the right to suspend or remove accounts that breach these Terms.
5. Health and Safety
Participation in activities is at your own risk.
You are responsible for ensuring you are medically fit and capable of participating in any activity you join.
Multiplay is not responsible for injuries, accidents, loss, or damage that may occur during or in connection with activities.
6. Hosts
Hosts are responsible for ensuring their activity information is accurate and that activities are conducted safely and lawfully.
Multiplay may remove activities or suspend host accounts where necessary.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, branding, logos, software, and materials within Multiplay remain the property of Multiplay or its licensors unless otherwise stated.
You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission.
8. Availability
We aim to keep Multiplay available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access.
We may modify, update, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Services at any time.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Multiplay is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the Services.
Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services is limited to the amount you paid to Multiplay for the relevant booking or purchase, where permitted by law.
Nothing in these Terms excludes any rights you have under applicable consumer protection laws.
10. Privacy
Your use of Multiplay is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
Continued use of the Services after changes are published means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
Any disputes relating to these Terms will be subject to the jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
